A very popular steak cut from the rear end of the short loin. The meat is tender and can be juicy and have plenty of flavour. Sirloin steaks (sometimes called Striploin, Porterhouse, Ambassador Steak, Boneless Club Steak, Hotel-Style Steak, Kansas City Steak, New York Steak, Top Loin & Veiny steaks) are usually grilled for best results and be careful to not over cook.

Cut from the boned loin, the tender sirloin has a fine grain and an exterior of fat along one side. It is an excellent grilling steak.
